We probably all remember the joy of simply colouring in when we were younger. Why not re-visit again. Slowing down and doing something simple which isn't taxing on us is an easy way to relax.
Carrying our thoughts and feelings around all the time can become overwhelming. Taking time every day to journal is a simple way of reducing this burden. Use simple words, sketches , blocks of colour, stick thing in or simply add pen to paper and doodle.
